Aiyana Parker returned to Poly Prep in 2020 as a Grade 4 Head Teacher. She began teaching six years ago, starting with a year of student teaching, three years at Poly Prep as an associate teacher, and two years at Little Red School House as an associate and co-lead Kindergarten teacher. She is currently pursuing a master’s in educational psychology at Hunter College. Aiyana is dedicated to teaching toward justice, equity, and inclusion, and believes that our students hold the key to molding our world into a better place.
When not teaching and learning, Aiyana enjoys cooking, the arts, and reading as much as humanly possible!
